CFOC is happy to welcome Ari as our new Administrative Assistant. Here she is, in her own words:
“My family and I moved to the Oneonta community in 2018, and we appreciate the Upstate serenity and beauty with its family-oriented ambiance. As an immigrant from West Africa, I learned to appreciate the unassuming community in Oneonta as it takes the time to warm up to you. However, once it does, like the same trees and the mountain on I-88 that gradually transforms into beautiful fall colors, we get to see the ‘beauty’ of our Oneonta-Cooperstown community. The people of these small towns show their true colors of love and empathy when the need arises.
The Community Foundation for Otsego County is not just about community; it is a platform for building relationships amid our diversities. Therefore, the honor and privilege to serve this community are beyond words.”
