The Dr. E.C. Winsor Memorial Fund has roots going back to the early 1940’s. Dr. Winsor was interested in helping Otsego County children under the age of 18 with ear, nose, and throat issues.
What We Fund through the Dr. E.C. Winsor Memorial Fund
Equipment (including eyeglasses and hearing aids), medical care including prescriptions, and other similar services and products. Beneficiaries must be children under the age of 18 who reside in Otsego County.
Applicants should be 501(c)(3) nonprofit health organizations with programs (existing and new) addressing hearing, sight and throat ailments. Applicants may be school districts that have school-based health programs.
Applicants (such as local service clubs) that are not 501(c)(3) nonprofit health organizations will be required to apply through fiscal sponsors (contact us for further information).
What We Do Not Fund through the Dr. E.C. Winsor Memorial Fund

- direct grants to businesses
Award Details
- Awards up to $500.
- The Community Foundation has allocated up to $2,600 for awards for 2024.

- If an award is offered, funds will be disbursed upon written acceptance of our award and compliance with any conditions of the award.
- If you receive an award, we request a brief summary of how the funds were used and the impact of the award.
