Community Foundation of Otsego County Welcomes Chris Franck to the Board of Directors

Chris Franck brings a wealth of experience as the newest member of the CFOC board. He is a retired partner of Deloitte, a guest lecturer at the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management, and a member of the Board of Education, Cooperstown Central School District.

Franck says, “My family moved to Otsego County in 1973, when I was entering third grade, and this community helped shape who I am ever since. Over the course of a 30-year career, I served as a management consultant, advising health care clients on global strategy, operations, and mergers and acquisitions. I returned to the area full time in 2022 and was eager to reconnect with the region and contribute in meaningful ways.”

“To that end I became involved with CFOC’s Student Voices, Student Choices program and saw firsthand how students across the county make a meaningful impact in their communities. As a CFOC board member, I will draw on my professional experience to support local organizations, strengthen community partnerships, and give back to the place that has meant so much to me.”

Jeff Katz, Executive Director of CFOC, says, “The board of CFOC includes proven community leaders, successful businesspeople, respected nonprofit leaders, and notable educators. Chris Franck will add greatly to the expertise and dedication of the board. We welcome him with open arms as we continue working to make Otsego County more prosperous, more equitable, and more welcoming.”
